Biographical Information

Performances:
I have been performing since I was 10, and began playing professionally at 14.
I have performed in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania.

Highlights include the CBGB's club in New York. The Main Point, Bijou's Cafe, and Grendals Lair in Philadelphia, The Stone Balloon, and Emerald City in South Jersey, along with the Norris Theater and many places in between.
Abilities:
I am an accomplished bassist, guitarist, keyboardist and lead singer. I have written in excess of 100 songs that cover multiple formats. I owe this to listening to and playing many types of music and genre's through the years. I feel this is the edge that I have over many of the new artists of the day. Longevity only comes with the ability to change with the musical times, and offer up quality songs. The artists that have been in the industry more than 10 years successfully, are proof of this.

Personal Interests

What I do for a living while I pursue my recording contract:
I am Manager of Information Systems for one of the largest Unions in Pennsylvania, so yes; I am also a computer maniac! I Administrate a LAN and a WAN through out the state.
Getting my Music on line.....
I am still experimenting with this site and intend to get support for 'streaming audio' very soon. I like Real audio Player, but the conversion process I must do to support the vast amount of 28.8 modem users, degrades the quality, but at least it is clear and you can hear the lyrics. besides if you're interested in getting these tunes and more in CD quality just email me and I can give you the details. I really have quite a few songs. If you like these...well...check them out for yourself.
Types of Equipment:
On the musical end I use a Fender P-Bass, an Ovation Applause acoustic electric, and a Suzuki Harmonica. For all other instruments you might hear, I use a Turtle Beach MultiSound Classic with an EMU Proteus 1/XR, a Turtle Beach Maui sampler, and a Creative Labs AWE 64. I use a Yamaha controller keyboard to access these wonderful
PC-based synthesizer/samplers. I utilize a Yamaha MT120 mixing board, with an AudioTech MB 1000L cardioid microphone. I also use several PC's to do all the music editing and web building but, that's boring to most.

I would like to mention I use several software packages including Turtle Beach QUAD digital multi-track recorder, WAVE sample editing and digital mastering software, with Cakewalk MIDI sequencing software, with some being used in a Windows for WorkGroups platform, and some in a Win95 platform.
<ps: I used to be Director of Technical Support for Turtle Beach Systems...great company, great people! Makers of the greatest sound cards in the world such as the classic MultiSound!>

Sample Songs

The songs listed below will change from time to time. If someone were to ask me, "Hey Guy, what kind of songs do you write?" I would have to reply that I write, rock, pop, country <traditional& hot>folk, new age, ambient, and standard jazz. I know you're thinking, "What?!?" Yes; again, I was exposed to many different types of music growing up, so as years went by and my writing improved, I found, that others listening to my songs heard different styles, and influences without being able to nail down anyone in particular. In my songs you will hear lots of harmonies, full orchestral chords, with intelligent arrangements and lyrics. I try to say what so many have said, a little-bit differently. You will find the styles of tunes in the listing below to sound similar, and other times nothing like each other. I hope that keeps your interest, and provides an anticipation of what might be next, that is so missing in some of todays artists. On the songs you will hear I sing lead on all, and sing all the harmonies, play the bass on all the tunes and play the guitars on all tunes but To Be All Right and Be Your Own Hero.

I thank you for your 'Surfing Time' and hope the songs are to your liking. You can always let me know by clicking on the link under Comments and Suggestions at the bottom of this page.
